RCMP in Fort St John investigate boat and trailer theft

Fort St John, British Columbia police are investigating the June 5, 2022 theft of a boat and trailer in that community.
RCMP say the items were taken around 4:15 that morning from a property on Clairmont Frontage.
The boat is described as an enclosed, 20-foot Shuman Vortex river boat with a checkered paint pattern, a 6.2 litre DI motor, and hull number BC3399361
It was on a white 2004 U-built dual axle trailer with BC licence plate UTT19N.
Police believe a white quad cab pickup truck was used during the theft.
The truck had a black push bumper, silver rims, and a sunroof.
This is another case of easy-opportunity theft which could have easily and economically prevented with one of several California Immobilizer security devices, including: a Protector Car Wheel Lock, a coupler lock, trailer wheel lock
